Discover Southall Landings on the Bay, located in the historic sailing village of Hampton, Virginia. We are located on Long Creek, which has an unrestricted 5 minute boat ride into the Chesapeake Bay from the privately owned Southall Landings Marina adjacent to and part of our community. 

Established in in 1989, we have three governing bodies.  The Southall Landings Properties Owners Association (SLPOA) includes all residents of Southall Landings on the Bay and operates and maintains the common areas including; the clubhouse, tennis-basketball-racquetball courts, ultra-modern fitness center, 2 pools, picnic area, lake and a half mile walking trail along the water. The SLPOA has its own Board of directors and collects monthly fees from all residents.

Residents who own condominiums are a member of one of two condo associations.  Southall Landings Condominium Association (SCOA) is accessed through security gates and has 131 families in 24 buildings that include waterfront, lakefront, and poolside condos.  The condos offer 3 story, duplex, and apartment style layouts.  Also within the gated part of the community is the newer Mainsail Condominium Association established in 2007 consists of 24 town home units many of which have waterfront views. 

 SCOA or Mainsail is the legal organization of the condo unit owners. The associations collect dues from all owners and is responsible for external building maintenance, insurance, common area maintenance, landscaping, lighting, irrigation, and trash/recycling. Home owners also have access and discounted slip fees at the on-site marina. Home owners elect a board of directors and create committees for maintaining community standards.

Southall Landings Community is known for its beauty in a natural setting, sound financial standing, friendly and engaged community members, active Neighborhood Watch program, and it’s many social activities.  Southall residents frequently express that their community is the best kept secret on the Chesapeake Bay.
